Redevelopment works at KL Sports City to transform the complex into a world-class infrastructure for the 29th SEA Games and 9th ASEAN Para Games included light replacements in the surrounding landscapes and car park. This was a time-sensitive project that put Tenaga Techno’s project management experience and capabilities to the test right from the start.

The task at hand was to replace, install and test over 300 buried uplights outside the complex in time for the opening event. Faced with Malaysia’s unpredictable weather and the logistics of working on-site with other contractors pursuing their own project targets, we needed to ensure close coordination between manufacturers, consultants, installers and the client to stay on track. This is where the strong relationships we have built with our valued associates shine. Through timely collaboration, we were able to space out deliveries of products and fixtures to optimize manpower and facilitate installation across the sprawling grounds of the iconic complex.
